Carlos Moreno, MPA

Carlos Moreno, MPA is a client advocate with a passion for community building. Prior to joining 9b, he worked in the marketing & communications department at CAP Tulsa and led Tulsa’s Code for America volunteer brigade.

Carlos is a 2014 NextCity Vanguard, a certified facilitator with the Mayor’s Office of Resilience and Equity, and a Human-Centered Design practitioner. He earned a B.A. in Administrative Leadership in 2017 and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree with a focus on civic technology in 2020 from the University of Oklahoma.

Carlos also works as a local historian & journalist, and is the author of two books: The Victory of Greenwood and A Kids Book about the Tulsa Race Massacre.
